Luvata Superconductors

Luvata Waterbury is a recognized leader in the supply of superconductive wires for medical diagnostic systems, high energy physics projects, and related applications where delivery and performance are critical.

Our superconductor was selected for such prestigous projects as the Large Haldron Collider at CERN, the fusion energy research project KSTAR in Korea and superconductors for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project.

In addition to the production facility in Waterbury, Connecticut USA, Luvata manufactures superconductors also in Pori, Finland and Zhongshan, China.

Luvata Waterbury manufactures copper stabilized NbTi and Nb3Sn conductors for a variety of superconducting applications.
