Feels Good to Do Good: Luvata São Paulo’s Responsibility Program Connects People
Donations, cooking for the homeless, and planting trees. These are some examples of what Luvata São Paulo has done for the community under the Feels Good to Do Good responsibility program.

Every month, Luvata São Paulo’s employees cook lunch for the homeless in a local church.
During Covid-19, Luvata São Paulo’s Managing Director Leticia Maradei got the urge to do something good for people. That was the start of the Feels Good to Do Good program, under which Luvata São Paulo now contributes to Luvata’s strategy for the benefit of people, society, and the earth.
“I believe that companies have the responsibility to use the power they have to do good,” comments Maradei.
The first charity activities they did together were donating blood, blankets, and clothes to those in need. Then they wanted to do even more. In September 2022, the employees and their families went together to a park near the factory to plant trees—and that was the official start of the Feels Good to Do Good program.
“It was the perfect day. We noticed that doing good together was not only beneficial for our community but also made us feel more connected as a company. That’s when we decided we wanted to do such activities regularly, and Feels Good to Do Good was born.”
Doing Good Together
Now the Feels Good to Do Good program is part of Luvata São Paulo’s working culture. Every month, 10 employees in rotation come together at a local church to cook lunch boxes for people living on the streets.
Besides this, the São Paulo unit does at least one charity activity every quarter. Suggestions for activities come straight from the unit's people. In the past, for example, they have painted an asylum near the factory, which was an idea that came from an employee.
“Feels Good to Do Good brings everyone in the company together. It literally feels good to do good together for the people and the environment around us!” says a happy Maradei.
