Luvata copper-resistance welding electrodes are used on robotic welding machines, primarily in automotive applications. The Luvata plant located in Delaware, Ohio, currently supplies over 80% of the cap electrode market in North America. Their success is attributed to the ability to market superior products produced solely from dispersion strengthened and zirconium coppers, combined with a special mechanical deformation process.
