Nordic Decor™
 Structure-rolled copper for general architectural applications. Nordic Decor™ is phosphorous deoxidised copper with a texture rolled surface that is available in sheet or strip. This structure-rolled copper originally developed for interior decoration, is actually suitable for a wide range of architectural applications.
Nordic Decor™ offers a new interesting alternative in general architecture and interior design. Indoor surfaces are an excellent choice for Nordic Decor™ where the texture will have a visual impact. Naturally, it can be used in any situation where a living surface is desired. Nordic Decor is a becautiful material for interior decoration. This material has one side texture rolled to a depth of 0,05 - 0,23 mm. Texture rolling gives higher stiffness compared toplain copper sheet. Nordic Decor™ behaves like any other architectural copper in an exterior environment. Over time the bright copper surface dulls down to dark brown, and eventually forms a greenish patina. An advantage of a textured surface is that normal handling marks and scratches seen on plain mill copper after installation are avoided. The texture also hides small out of plane surface deviations after installation and minor mechanical damage. Oxidation of the copper surface in an interior application can be prevented by the use of a lacquer or wax. Nordic Decor™ can be used as normal copper sheeting by observing the normal temper requirements of a given object. It should be noted though that multiple bending along the texture will cause fracture earlier than with a smooth copper sheet due to localised work hardening. Nordic Decor™ is suitable for interior and exterior facades, roofs, decorative furnishings, elevator walls, fireplace hoods, door and window frames, door panels, decorative purposes, lamps and memorials. Packing & DimensionsNo special requirements over ordinary roofing copper. Surface scratches should be avoided. Nordic Decor™ is available in a thickness range of 0.5 - 1.5mm and in widths up to 1000mm.
