Sheets and Strips for Building and Construction

Copper is widely used in building applications due to its durability and formability. It’s easy to form both cold and warm. It is also maintenance free and environmentally friendly material, which can be totally recycled. The development of  patina with different shades inspires architects to creative solutions.

Copper strips and sheets are available with different surfaces. Very often instead of the red bright copper a brown or green surface is  desired. Nordic Brown is a  dark oxidized copper both sides. It’s ideal material for applications where dark brown finish is required already from the beginning. Nordic Green PLUS is prepatinated copper with even or living green finish. It can be easily bended and used  for  fabrication of panels and cassettes.

Sheets are strips are produced of  DHP copper, with phosphorus de-oxidised copper, in annealed, half hard or hard temper. The material properties correspond EN1172 requirements. The sizes for roofing purposes are typically from 0,5 mm to 1,00 thick material, but for wall cladding up to 1,5  mm or even thicker depending on design and production process.
