Plate Moulds For Continuous Casting

Moulds are made from silver-bearing copper based on Luvata's oxygen-free copper (CuAg-P) to provide outstanding conductivity and strength.

A protective chromium or nickel plating can be applied to increase the wear resistance of the plate surface.

Our flexible manufacturing process and our high-quality tubular and plate moulds ensure trouble free continuous casting for our customers.

Mono-Block Moulds For Continuous Casting

We make mono-block moulds according to the customer’s own drawings. The moulds are machined from a forged block for continuous casting of slabs and blooms of steel or silver-bearing copper (CuAg-P).

CuAg-P: Silver-bearing copper based on Luvata’s oxygen-free copper for excellent conductivity and strength.
