Luvata Rolled Products Division
From four to three sales & market regions

Luvata Rolled Products Division has reorganized its sales & marketing organization from four to three regions, based on time zones, to better Lennart Andersson - EMEAmeet its customers’ needs. “This will make it easier for us to communicate with our customers and it will also reduce travel time when visiting them,” says Lennart Andersson, now responsible for the EMEA sales & marketing which includes Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia.

Lennart Andersson, who was just recently responsible for Emerging Markets, has previously had responsibility for the European market. “I have a good working knowledge and understanding of what is needed to be a first class supplier in this region. Our sales group has years of experience and is very dedicated. Together we will do our utmost to fulfill the needs of our customers.”

Lennart Andersson explains that the sales organization in EMEA will be more “segment driven” compared with previously being “country oriented”. “We will still have local representatives in the countries we serve, but we intend to allocate our sales resources as much as possible to support and develop our sales towards defined segments. We truly believe that the specialization and focus on specific segments will enhance our understanding of our customers’ business and therefore make us an even more attractive partner to our customers.”
Todd Heusner - AmericasEMEA, Americas and Asia are now the three sales & marketing regions. Todd Heusner will be the head of the Americas. “This means that Ulf Anvin in our Chicago office will expand his Engine Cooling segment responsibility to South America and have direct oversight of the region,” Heusner explains. “This inside sales responsibility is now moving from Sweden to Chicago, delivering customer assistance from the Luvata customer service centre in same or more similar time zone.”
Gert Lundmark - AsiaIn addition to South East Asia, Gert Lundmark is now also the head of India, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand markets. “Sales administration service for Australia and New Zealand will be done locally by our Singapore office, with Jeremy Chan and Steven Kwang as contact persons.   India and Pakistan are covered by agents and will be handled in the same way as in the past,” Lundmark explains. “Our work in Asia will continue as usual and our commitment remains the same. We will continue to be a trustworthy, long-term partner for our clients.  Working in same time zone we will be able to cater to fast sales service at all times,” summarizes Lundmark.

Gert Lundmark further tells, “There has been an increased interest in CuproBraze heat exchangers with some successful projects well underway and the market is strong in most segments throughout Asia.”
Todd Heusner, Americas, agrees with Lennart Andersson about the fact that demand generally has improved in most segments this year and that they are now back to the level of 2008, which most considered as a good year until the business was hit by the global recession at the end of the year.

Lennart Andersson, EMEA: “We continue to launch new products in the renewable energy area, for example combining solar heating collectors with our architectural products for facades. The first pilot project is a new swimming hall in Pori, Finland, which will be built during 2011.

“We are continuously striving to be better partners with our customers. The aim is to fully understand their business with the purpose of supporting them with products, not only for today but also for tomorrow. I am convinced that this new organization will contribute to doing just that,” adds Lennart Andersson.
