The 'Think' campaign launched Luvata's approach towards focussing on solutions. We stepped away from the industry tradition of product pictures and produced three images showing our senior people looking straight into the viewer's eyes. This was our invitation to discuss - to bring brilliant minds together and think about what we needed to do to make tomorrow better than today.
Growth in vehicle numbers around the world over the next decade will be matched by intense environmental and economic pressures. Recent changes in the global competitive landscape are already beginning to reveal which strategies from which manufacturers address these challenges most effectively.
Luvata is working with many of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers to improve operational efficiency and to ensure the quality of everything from radiator strips and body welding to connectors and electronics. We are endeavouring to reach the best levels of corrosion resistance, durability, heat transfer, electrical conductivity and weldability.
But it’s not just a matter of technology, logistics are also important. By agreeing to a just-in-time principle with our customers, we deliver exactly when, and where, our customers need. By reducing inventory and storage, we reduce our customers’ tied-up capital. Together, we create a more efficient operation.
For the foreseeable future, automobiles remain a mass-production industry. We feel that it is our responsibility to do all we can to make sure those vehicles are as efficient as possible in their design, their manufacture and their performance.
