Luvata and environment
Managing environmental issues is an integral part of the daily business of Luvata.
In all of our operations, we are guided by our Environmental Policy. Our management systems and work routines implement this policy at each manufacturing site and we have five sites that are certified according to the environmental standard ISO 14001 or EMAS.
The manufacturing processes for copper products do not create significant emissions to air or discharges into water. So, our main environmental considerations are energy efficiency, sustainable use of raw materials and chemicals, and minimising risks.
